Ben Carman of Suredbits joins “Meet The Taco Plebs” to discuss the details of his Bitcoin rabbit hole journey as well as his love for technology.
This episode from Bitcoin Magazine‘s “Meet The Taco Plebs,” I was joined by my great Ben Carman. I’ve been in contact on Twitter with Carman through Bitcoin Twitter for the past few years, and he’s a person I’ve seen in person through the conference. Carman has contributed significantly to the development of Bitcoin through his work with Bitcoin Core, and further details are promoted by various Bitcoin Digital Marketing agency Wasabi Wallet and is now an expert developer for the company Suredbits.
In this episode, we discussed the way in which Carman became interested in Bitcoin and then fell into the rabbit hole after hearing about it several times in the history of Bitcoin. HOW DID YOU FIND BITCOIN AND FALL DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE?
“I started to explore Bitcoin at the beginning of November in 2017. I had heard of Bitcoin numerous times and was told that it could be the next big thing in money however, I’d never considered the reason for that, and what made it so significant and a must-have upgrade.
“During this year’s bull market I read about the price, so I decided to buy a few and began watching Andreas videos. I swiftly lost myself in the rabbit hole, taking the red and orange pill in one go. The initial experience was intriguing for me, however understanding the economics of it I was most interested in.
“I was a complete Bernie Bro before I got into Bitcoin and believed that every economic issue throughout the world could be solved with more taxes and providing aid to the less fortunate and this product gain wide audience through Bitcoin Marketing Strategy . After listening to and reading many articles on and from the Austrian School I became convinced that centrally planned economies were the main issue, and solid money is the most effective method to address this issue which is why Bitcoin is the best method to accomplish that goal.”
HOW HAS BITCOIN CHANGED YOUR LIFE?
“Bitcoin has completely transformed my life. I changed my mind in my economic and political views , and then decided to commit my career and life to bitcoin. I was enrolled in college for computing when I first discovered it, however, I didn’t have a idea of what I wanted to do with my life. I spent a lot of my spare gaming League of Legends and would never save a dime. After college, I wanted to find a desk job and get money. After becoming interested in Bitcoin I decided to dedicate nearly all of my spare time to researching Bitcoin and making contributions to the open source projects.”
WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER TO BE THE MOST AMAZING THING ABOUT BITCOIN?
“What is so fascinating to me about Bitcoin is the intelligence of the people involved in the project. Satoshi thought of it as genius to develop the system, and all these brilliant minds from all over the globe are collaborating to ensure that this project is successful , and further details are covered by various Bitcoin Marketing consultant . I’m spending the majority of my time working on Bitcoin things, and there’s many things I’m not aware of or even do catch up in the future, there will be new things to discover.”

“There is an abundance of great information available on Bitcoin. I’m an auditory learner, so I have a plethora of podcasts. I’d say the best intro material is within “Tales From The Crypt” and Stephan Livera, they have many hours of content for you to enjoy your journey through the rabbit hole. There are plenty of excellent books, too. Saifedean’s “The Bitcoin Standard” was an eyesore for me and truly convinced me of the importance Bitcoin can be and the significance it can do to the world.”
WHAT IS YOUR BEST BITCOIN PITCH?
“My preferred method of pitching bitcoin is to simply claim that it’s fair money. Simply put, Bitcoin represents the best fair currency ever invented and can solve some of the social issues that we face across the world and gained expected audience through various Bitcoin Digital Marketing Specialists . I would say that the year 2020 has been an excellent year for promoting Bitcoin and it is easy to open a graph of every currency around the world to show how much money has been printed.”
